18 Month Photos

Autumn makes for some great pictures. I wanted to take advantage of the nice day and get Jude's 18 month pictures done. He doesn't actually turn 18 months until tomorrow (sorry Dad), but I'm pretty sure he'll look the same:)

Fall Party

That's John all wrapped up as a mummy.

Every year we have a fall party for our small group at church. This year John and I were Grandma and Grandpa. We had a lot fun playing games and hanging out.

Big Boy Bed!

We got Jude a new race car toddler bed we found on craigslist. He took his first nap in it today and did really well! He stayed in it until he fell asleep and didn't cry at all. I'm going to have him take just his naps in it for a while and then eventually I'll have him sleep in it at night too. He's getting so big:)

Trick or Treat!

This was Jude's first year trick or treating. It was fun to get him all dressed up. He was really grumpy about the whole thing at first, but after he realized that he got candy, it became a lot more fun for him:)
Jude showing his muscles.

"Is anyone looking?"

We stopped at the McGills house for a while.

Jude loved eating candy. He ate more candy that night than he has in his whole life.

Are you my mommy?

This kitten is Melvin. He is our outdoor kitty who sleeps in the garage at night. We got him to get rid of our mouse problem in our garage and attic. These pictures are of him trying to nurse on Ruby. I think he thinks she's his mother. He also grooms her and cuddles with her all the time. It's kinda sweet, but weird.

Corn Dogs

He's saying "mmmmm" right here.

We made corn dogs last night for dinner. They turned out really well. Jude LOVED them. He ate 3! He enjoyed dipping them in ketchup and mustard. I was surprised that he liked the mustard, but he did. He got it all over himself though. That dot on his head is ketchup:)

Country Sunday

Every year in October our church has a "Country Sunday". Everyone dresses country and we have bluegrass music. Then after church we have a BBQ with games and stuff.

John's winning!
