The day they left, their flight didn't leave until later in the evening so they spent the day in San Diego and went to a beach so they could see the Pacific.
They ate lunch at this seafood place on the end of the pier.
Great that we can see John at work! I'm glad to see he was in the pics and not just behind the camera. I know you're glad he's home. :-) See you this weekend!
Good to see you smiling, John! I know you had your share of challenges on this trip, but it looks like you kept your good sense of humor through it all. I'm glad you had the opportunity to do a bit of sight-seeing as well.
Wow, John! You have totally gotten Dad's hairline! That first pic I saw I had to chuckle; it's happened! Did you look that way before, or was that from the traffic circles? Was that the first time you'd seen the Pacific, or did you get to on one of your previous better trips to Mexico?
